Old Catholic Church

Old Catholic Church
This term refers to a number of Churches that trace their origin to a schism in the Netherlands in the eighteenth century; in general, these Churches claim apostolic succession but reject the dogma of infallibility. Some of these Churches now identify themselves as Apostolic Catholic or Christian Catholic rather than Old Catholic.
